Hey all:

It does not really hit home until you go to top off.

Yesterday I put 2 Gallons of gas in the bike for $7.00. Un Fu*king real.

Just my rant

 

Yup, pain at the pump. It's going to get worse.

 

Costs me about $18 to fill it up in my neck of the woods.

I remember when I could fill my CAGE up for way less than that.

 

They can watch all the finger pointing in the news about how Bush is the cause of the price of gas, when in fact, they know the real reason. The arabs just laugh and sit back to enjoy the money that is flooding in.

 

Damn these gas prices!

Not only that, but thecost of everything is going up. If you don't believe me put $40 in your pocket and don't use any plastic (ATM/Checkcard) for a week. See how much you have left...

I read an interesting article some time back shortly after the war in Iraq started i believe. Gas at the end of WWII, factoring inflation was $2.22/gallon. When I read the article, gas was about that much. I think in the next few years we are gonna see some MAJOR changes in fuel. Don't know what it will be but I can't see us taking much more of this.

My prediction that within 50 years if even, oil will be a memory and although they will have lived "high on the hog for the past 100 years or so , in the middle east, they will go back to shoveling camel sh*t like they did before the internal combustion engine came to be.

The internal combustion engine will become an anachronism, like the record, 8 track, and the typewriter within, or on the high side, 50 years.....IMO, Man, I'm getting old (48) But like the above mentioned things, some people will still have and use them for "recreation", but the fuel source will no longer be in demand....IMO

So let them have their fun now, because in the scheme of time, it's almost over, and won't even rate a mention.

Alternatives are coming quick. Too bad when oil is no longer needed most of us won't be around to see it.

Oh, well..............Everyone have a GREAT weekend, and let us pleasure ourselves with the GAS to run the HOGS!
