07 EGC, Solid 42

 

Well, it sounds like I'm running about average then. I was kinda worried as allthe other HDs I'veowned or still own, the worst mileage I've ever had(07 RK Custom excepted)was 45 mpg on my '89 softail custom. Norm has always been around 50 with my wifes 93 1200 getting near 60 mpg. With this being my first real bagger, it was just kinda shocking to need to look for gas after only 150 miles on a tank.
Hell, I still reach for the petcock after I turn the ignition off. All this new fangled stuff is hard to remember on my 50 something brain!!
I aint gonnna gripe any more unless I run outta gas out in the middle of nowhere!!

39 miles per gallon. Stock 2006 Street Glide riden in rural area.

 

I just rolled over 600mi and mpg keeps creeping up. Filled up today and was at 38 mpg with city/hwy combined. I'm hoping for an avarage of 40-44 mpg after breaking in and changing to synthetic oils in all the holes.

 

38 MPG Shouldn't have done the upgrades.

 

40 around town... 42-45 on the highway.

 

Dang, I shoulda been a rocket scientist!!! I just figured out that if you take the windshield off you'll get a coupla more mpg!! Good for road king owners, not so for E glide owners..... If ya dont mind eatin bugs, it's great!!!

 

On the mountain I avg. 32-36, on the hwy right around 40 if I stay out of it. I've gotten as low as 23 and as high as 51 it depends on the conditions and the right hand addiction.

 

Living in Phoenix,AZ. I've have only 2500 miles on a stock 08 FLHX but getting only 40 mpg and thtas mostly Hwy miles

 

my 08 SG is getting about 37 running through town and on highway about 40-41. been pretty steady lately have about 4k on it now.
