Man you guys are computer junkies.....I can see if you have to carrying a notebook back and forth to work, but on a vacation?? I'm an IT guy, work on computers all day every day.....last thing I want with me when I go on a bike trip is a computer to remind me about work. Hell, I don't even turn my cell phone on!!

sanaga. I would really cushion your laptop well, or better yet, don't take it. It sounds like you really don't need it. Besides with the road conditions in your country, you could better use the room for tire or bike emergency repair stuff. It's not like the US where there's Harley Dealers all over the place. Just my opinion.

In live in Denver Colorado, back in 2004 I rode to Wisconsin and back. With all my running around put on a little over 3000 miles that trip. Carried my HP 17" screen laptop all the way in the tour pak and 4 years later it is still working fine. Just make sure you carry it in its carrying case.
