BP: Good for you--don't know why more guys doing custom paint on baggers don't do this--way cooler than fat rear fenders with stock tires, extended faux saddlebags, etc. IMO.

Keep the pics coming.

Is that also a heat shield to protect your thigh?

Ride well,

Drag Specialties sells a tank extension kit. The pieces are almost a perfect fit. I had a little trimming to do to get it to shape around the seat. I have access to a tig welder and worked in the "body shop" at Nissan plant for 7 years...so I'm experienced with metal working.

The hit was pretty easy, made of 18g. steel so it was workable. I wouldn't advise using any welder other than a tig though.

[sm=WTFsgign.gif]Where's the rest of your scoot. I see a big 'ol hole where a motor USED to go.[sm=insomnia.gif]

Tank looks good though.

Depends which parts you're looking for.
The parts that make the wheels go round 'n round...are sitting in my garage floor.
The parts that hold all those parts, are at the painter...frame included.

Is it for looks only, or do they hold more gas too? Looks good anyway.
