Hope you don't mind the input from a RoadGlide rider since I'm sure wiring is not same but I just had the 16" burly bars put on with fly by wire and ABS. Dealer told me wires were long enough to work, I was very involved so I know it to be true...you may want to check out to see if there is enough in the Road King loom. Biggest problem, besides ABS lines, was cutting holes in the bars for the wiring (cruise control/radio/etc) and the notches in the end for the FBW. Cyclesmith is offering bars for the 08 FBW.
