I wanted to ask all you Road Glide owners out there how you like the comfort of the stock seat. I was considering picking one up to put on my SG as an alternative to buying a Sundowner. Also, how does the passenger like it?

 

I like mine, It is the best stock seat I have ridden on. Oh, the wife does not complain either.

 

To me yes...to some others no...

My passenger likes it too. I'm also sure that there are seats out there that are more comfortable too.

Stock RG seat compared to my stock FXD seat....I am shocked at how much better it is. Seams like the moco "knows" how to make a comfy seat, but they choose not to for whatever reason.

 

My stock seat on my 08' is the best stock seat I have ever had. T.

 

Had lower back and pain between the shoulder blades. Went to the sundowner at 700. miles have 5700.on it now can ride 500 miles and hop right back on it again. 07 rd glide

 

My sundowner should be here the end of the week or early next. My 08 RG seat will be for sale.

 

Just got a sundowner. Can't wait to try it out. Still a little chilly out here.

 

Two to three hundred, yeah, it's ok. After that you need something else. The passenger is less comfortable.

 

Yes. 1800 miles in one weekend on mine. Could have done 1800 more.

 

Same here. I think the '08 Road Glide seat is as comfortable as my previous Mustang solo on my Road King. I just finished a 1900 mile weeklong trip on it and did fine. My better half doesn't think the passenger portion of it is as comfortable as it needs to be though.
