What about a Solo for the 08, anyone have any idea or rumours about those?

 

I'm in the same boat. I am waiting/hoping the SG Sundowner comes out soon. I had a Sundowner on my RoadGlide and loved it. I was actually surprised at how comfortable the stock SG seat was but not for 2 up...

 

Keeping my fingers crossed as well! I am actually going to the dealer soon to "test fit" my wifes@ss to the seat and take it around the block. I will be waiting a couple months or so in hope for the SG stitching but I wanted to test it out and see if it is even what I want.

 

There is NO seats in the Supplemental Parts Catalog. My dealer is telling me that it is not going to be available.

Does anyone know a defiant answer on the availability of the Street-Glide Stitching Sundowner for the '08 before I spend a ton of cash on a Mustang seat and backrest? What is with so few seats being available for the '08 in the Harley catalog? There isn't a '08 solo-seat either.

P.S. Do you think I would get anything for my Street-Glide Stitching backrest? It only has about 10 miles of someone riding against it (MINT CONDITION).

I would say just give them time to come out with them. I want the RKC sundowner, too, and am waiting patiently for them to come out. But if they don't I am going to get the plain one and have a upholsterer remove the "classic" basketweaving off my old seat and install it on the plain one. You guys with the SG's ought to know you have the "HOT" bike and the MOCO will do whatever they can to keep you spending money on your bikes! P A T I E N C E, my good man.....
