RE: heated jackets, liners, pants, etc. Any recommendations?
I have the complete Gerbings setup, Love it, best investment I've made as for riding motorcycles. I have the Jacket liner, pants liner, socks and gloves, also the controller.
Expensive, yeah, but it's a one time investment, lifetime warranty from Gerbings....

Widder heated gear is great, but they are closing down... you might find a deal on them
Tourmaster has come out with heated gear, for alittle less cost
Gerbing is what I use... and I like them....and they come with a LIFETIME guaranty (they make the HD brand heated gear... same quality.. you just have to pay more, if you want to display the logo)
(hate to sound like a advert but....)
http://www.grandprixmotorsports.com/eshopdetail_cat_2299.Gerbings_Catalogs_.htm
Gran prix motorsports in Littleton Colorado has a 20% off sale onGerbings..... oh??they're customer service is kinda slow...they take the orders, then order stock.... some items take longer than others
Discount code GERB001 thats (GERB zero zero one)

I just bought a heated vest and gloves and tried them for the first time yesterday. The temps were in the low 40's and I felt comfortable. I might invest in heated socks if I continue to ride in the cold. I don't ride if there is snow or ice and salt on the ground mainly so as not to destroy the bike.
