RE: my idol Jeff Healey died
Bummer, I'm sorry to hear that. I always liked his music. I'll always remember the first time I say him on the tonight show. Playing the guitar on his lap with hands over the neck like a steel guitar. He was amazing. I didn't realize he was blind untill johnny came over and he tookjohnny's elbow to go over and set down. A true talent. SAD

RE: my idol Jeff Healey died
Hey
I was surprised to hear this as well! Im near Toronto where Jeff resided, and its all over the country (Canada) by radio stations etcregarding his passing. He is best know for rock guitar playing, but he was also abig timejazz lover. In the jazz world he was very well known for playing the trumpet, and even had a jazz "oldies" show on the CBC radio. There is a club in Toronto called Healy's where he helped up and coming acts by giving them a place to play.
They announced on my local radio station an new Jeff Healy rock album will be released sometime in April which is very cool!
One the good ones has left us.........my thoughts are with his wife and 2 young children!
