GET A HARLEY JACK. IT IS TWICE AS EXPENSIVE BUT FOOL PROOF. IT IS A GEAR DRIVE HAND JACK THAT WILL ONLY MOVE IF YOU CRANK IT UNLIKE THE HYDRAULIC ONE PICTURED. i CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY ONE WOULD SPEND 20,OOO.OO PLUS AND THENCONSIDER SOMETHING OBVIOUSLY INFERIOR.

Yeah, Harley is known for their jacks. I've used the craftsman. I've even got the cheaper steel one for 89 bucks at sears, works fine. In fact I use a craftsman jack when I work on my 50K Corvette.

I have the craftsman aluminum. I'm very happy with it as it does what I need. It's low profile slides under my 05 Ultra while it's on the jiffy stand. It's easy to use. I can raise the whole scoot but I generally only do one wheel at a time. It's fine for me as I don't need to go high. Don't think I'd feel comforatble taking it all the way up.

If I wanted to take it way up I'd buy a Pitbull air lift.

I own this one and use it all the time for my Road King. It works great, very stable and easy to use. It has around 4 different height settings to lock in on and the handle removes easily for when you're working on the bike. In no way is this an inferior jack. I recommend it.

I have the Craftsman steel jack whick I got on sale for 89.00. I looked at the aluminum but went with the other. Have enjoyed using the steel with rollers, easy to use and very stable. Sorry no experience with the Aluminum.

I think it is a great jack. I don't have a problem with lowering the jack which is what I believe the first responce seems leery of..........
Search around on the forums. This one is definitely preferred over the 80.00 Sears jack. Some guys had drift down issues with those.

This is an excellent jack....since my company details bikes it is used constantly. I know two riders that have harleys jack and go wow over ours. Lowering...the release will let you go as slow as you want.

I considered both the Sears aluminum jack and the Harley jack. I decided against both of them because of the lack of a foot pump. I feel much more comfortable holding on to the bike's handlebars with both hands while pumping a foot pump, especially during the critical transition phase when the bike is going to and from the jack. I got a Pit Bull and I love it. It will lift my Street Glide and Gold Wing up to 24" high with rock solid stability. I strongly recommend that you consider a jack with a foot pump.
