RE: went down today
Sorry to hear - it's heart-breaking to happen to your new bike too of all things, but when something like this happens to me i always try to put it in perspective "that it could have been worse" IE: severe or fatal injury, etc.
You're typing this to us so I assume your injuries were minor or not too bad, so that's the part to be thankful for is what I'm trying to say. So that means you've lived to ride another day!
A group HUG from the membership here is in order...

RE: went down today
Sorry to hear and see that Cooldude.
Lets us know if you are OK
Last part of October, believe it or not, I was waiting to pull out of a church parking lot after service one Sunday.
Apparently the elder gentlemen behind me didn't like the sermon or something. I got rear ended my his mini van and he litterally knocked my E-Glide out from under me. Jammed elbow was all I got. And a broken heart because seeing my glide with her wheels pointing to the sky was a sight I hoped I would never see.
Tour pak + light bar,
Rear fender, + turn signal assem.
Left saddle bag and all mounting hardware. Left side cover
Left side rear crash bar,
Handle bars, chutch lever
Outer fairing, + fairing mounts
I know pain my friend.
Dan
