Ok my friend wants to coat his rear crash bars black on his black std. It will hide the bars so to speak but still serve protection. Question is he has a crash bar bag he takes on and off, depending on if his woman is riding, and wants to know will the bag rub, wear, or effect the coated bar at all? The bag won't leave marks on the chrome....

 

over time i'm afraid it will probably effect the finish... even powder...
