Default Hawg Wired Question?

I plan on upgrading my tunes on my 08 Street Glide and was considering going with Hawg Wired.I am looking at the Direct Connect(amp DCS1202 120Watt) vs. the Double Shot(amp PSC1502 150watt).Does anyone have any opinions on either one of these systems(besides their expensive). Is it worth paying $150.00 more for 30watts?Should I get Hawg Wired speakers or another brand? Thanks for any help!

Just made the purchase last week of the Double Shot. I was in the same position thoughwise with the $150.00extra for the top system they carry.the speakers for the Double Shot are a better and i figured i might as well go all the way if im going 3/4,They should be arriving any day now. sorry cant give you any input to the sound quality yet but i am confident from what ive read.

Just go for it - get the speakers too - you wont believe the sound quality! That system totally rocks! Think of it this way...you're driving down the street and say, man...I wish this was a little bit louder. I should have paid the extra $150 when I had the chance! Now it's too late - bummer!!!
Do it once and do it right. Go big or go home.

I'd probably call and talk to them about what you're wanting to do. That's what I did and I ended up with the PSC1502 & their speakers. I could not be happier with the sound & volume.

I installed the PSC 1502 amp and CX 504-70 speakers in my '08 FLHX. I haven't had it on the road yet, but first impression is that it is a great improvement over stock - like night and day. At the same time I added the HK XM module. I had a bitch of a time fitting everything, and getting the faring back on. What are your guys experience with getting the fairing to fit on easily.

Thanks for the replies!I went with the 1502 150 watt amp with the 504-70 speakers.I ordered them from Shooter64 and he saved me big bucks.I'll keep everybody informed on how the system sounds as soon as I get it installed.
