Clear Alternatives Smoked Taillight Lens,
part # CLT-0030-S

If so can I see pics and ask how the inner lens and outer lens was on fitting? This is the only pic I can find.

 

I have this lens but with the radiantz led board installed. I never used the reflector they provided. It fits just like the reflector with the squareback taillights harley uses it just has the bonded red plastic shroud so you can still use a clear bulb. It looks very nice. I would recomend this light! If I did not answer your question, I am sorry but it was a bit unclear but let me know.

 

There looks to be no clear window in the smoked lens but yet there is a section in the reflector kinda cut out for it. Is it designed to shine white at the top? Is the red cover in the reflector inclose the clear bulb completely? I am looking for a smoked lens with no clear window in it for the plate. This is the only thing I have found. Thanks for any help.

 

There is no clear window for the light the enitre lens in smoked. There is however a space for the white light to shine up for the licence plate light past the red plastic part. That is easily fixed with either a red bulb instead of the clear or with a led bulb or board. You can go to the dealer and just get a reflector from a ultra with out the red cover. Like I said go to a dealership and get a dual fillament bulb or a led bulb or board. Mine has no white light shinning and looks top notch!

 

Kool thanks, one last thing. The reflector for an ultra comes out? My taillight, the reflector and lens is molded together...

 

The are molded only by heatinging. They are realitavely easy to separate I would order the tailight and if you want to try, take the red plastic off that would be the easiest. If not the chrome is easy to remove from the stock tail lens.
