I guess I'm a youngster at 59 but I plan on riding my new RG for many, many more years! As long as the body holds up, I'll be riding.

 

It isn't age issue it is a health issue IMO. If we take care of our health the ability to ride will take care of itself.

 

hmmm, you might want to move your date up to the 2037 model. I hear the 2038's will be cold fusion & you know as soon as they do that, its gonna look like a Metric.

With all the advances in medicines these days, maybe they'll come up with Bikeagra. The only problem with that might be if you stay in the saddle for more than 4 continuous hours, you need to seek medical attention.

 

I have a neighbor who is 79 and rides a Gold Wing. He is a pretty high mileage rider, too. He hasn't had a Harley since the 60's, but says he wants to get another one (probably an Ultra) before he quits riding.

 

I'll keep riding until I'm dead...unless I start being (more) dangerous to other drivers or physically incapable...

 

I was in my local dealership today and there was a guy that was 82 buying a brand new lazyboy of some sort.
When the salesman asked him if he was going to pay cash he just laughed and said he would finance because he didn't have much time left and he wanted to hold onto his cash for having fun.
He was quite the character ran around like a kid in a candy store so as long as I can stand up and not **** my pants I will be riding.

 

I feel the older people should ride more often, it keeps them sharper!
My Dad is 84 ,he rides ,his favorite past time is riding ,and his second is splitting fire wood.
I hope I am in as good of shape when I reach his age.

 

Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional. Hope I'm riding for a long time!
