I'll be honest with you about the Street Glides. I think there the lazy way out for guys that don't know any better.
I believe it isthe right of everyone to have and expressan opinion about their personal prefrence, but at the point that you said you believe it was the lazy way out for guys that dont know any better. that to me sounds a little more personal. almost like maybe you know something about me personally and the other members who chose this bike through an intelligent thought and eliminationprocess.

Buying a Harley wasn't about logic, it was about buying the bike that appealed to my soul, and that was the SG.

Proud member of the Street Glide invasion since October '05. In fact, there was a time when my SG was the only blacked out bike I'd see on any given bike night. Oh how times have changed! Still, I wouldn't trade my bike for any other H-D. I LOVE my bike and would be happy if it were the last Harley I ever buy. Now I'm going about fine tuning it, making it all the more "mine.

So, I'm 59 going on 60. I have an SG. Bought it cause it was set up a lot like I had set up my old FLHT. Wanted newer technology, as far as HD takes that. Love the bike (especially with the IDS). Don't own a trailer and I still believe that the ride is the adventure, not the destination. We all ride what makes us happy, and that's the point.

Uh-Oh I think I just ripped a couple o ribs loose lafin.
I was not aware of a minimum age requirement for a particular model.
Where can I get an officialcopy of what kind of Bike/Helmet/Boots/Gloves/Type of pipes/gloves/pants I am allowed to Buy. Also if I buy a product and then accidentally get older do I have to sell it off and update for new age group. Thank you in advance.
