So does that mean an 07 Street Glide run a 150 tire (stock wheels)?

i have a 2000 FLHTCI and I am trying to do the 18" swap. I have a 150 mm avon on there right now and i have a small rub on the belt (even with guard removed). Should i go with a pully spacer? or a 140mm rear tire?

also, right now with the wheel on, there doesnt seem to be enough room for another spacer -- is anything removed? or is it just a REALLY tight fit?

thanks

Elvis, you don't want any rubbing. Before you quit on the 150 Avon, try it with the new inch 18wheel. Tire will be lower profile.

Check the engine/frame/rear swingarm alignment and verify its within spec. If seriously out-of-line it will cause rubbing too.

the 105mm avon is on the 18" wheel. Very slight rub. I called a local bike parts store (only domestic parts) and they had the pully spacer. Just over 1/8th inch thick. We are trying that now. It should work perfectly -- i just want to make sure that i dont tweak the belt too much.

I run a 140 Metz on my 99, get with FBI & go 200. Sometime in the future I hope to do this.
