Shifting

RE: Shifting
I changed the oil in my primary yesterday. I always had the dealership do it before. The manual clearly states "32" ounces. "Do not overfill". So why did I drain 38 ounces? Neutral is a lot easier to find now with 32 ounces.
With the money the dealership charges, you would think they could get it right. This isn't the only example of poor workmanship from this service dept.

Some people just put in 1 qt., others like me add the extra.
My bike shifts fine with the higher level.
Other things to check for smoother shifting is.....primary and clutch adjustment and clutch cable for free operation.Lube the clutch cable.

Has anyone ever experenced what I call stiff or stubborn shifting. When the bike is cold it seems to shift fine but when the bike warms up it is sometimes hard to shift into neutral when I am stoped. any suggestions?
