I wouldn't fly H-Acolors on my ride... If you want to use H.A. Supporter that is fine, but be careful about how you use a clubs colors, it could get you in much more trouble than the bike is worth.

Very True, stay away from using a clubs colors or name unless you are a support club or an actual patch holder in that club.

If you really want to be sure nothing happens, stay home. You can ask for a ground floor handicap room (the doors are wider and theres a ramp) if your low enough to take it from someone who needs it or you can do what everyone else says...Lock it, load yer gun and snore. If you really want some good security, I have a great schematic for a sawed off 12 ga. that fits under the seat and is activated by lifting the bike off the stand..............

I always stay at places that I can park right outside of the door. Lock it up set the alarm, turn on pager and enjoy.

I just keep a trained attack Chihuahua in the saddlebags and chain him to the highway bars at night, at least the theif knows he's been attacked when his ankles are bleeding!

I worried about this when I first started riding on overnight trips. I even went so far as to bring my bike into the room with me. Now, after fifty years of riding without a single instance of anyone bothering my bike, I don't worry about it. Take prudent precautions like locking the bike, having insurance, etc. and don't stay at the cheapest motel you can find in the worst part of town. At big bike rallys I see leather jackets laying on top of bikes and everything else and nothing seems to get stolen except whole bikes by professional thieves.
Totally agree with this,......................
