I either hire these guys

Or instead of the Honda cover I would put on a Hells Angels cover. [sm=violent053.gif]

You guys are too funny! I love the Honda cover idea... I know it's a joke, but seriously,, I don't think a thief would mess with a Honda. This will actually work! I'm gonna get one right away!

I always try to pick a motel/hotel with parking right outside the front door. Lock it up, alarm and relax.

Zip-tie an empty pistol holster on the right side of the handle bar and you'll have no problem.

What about the stuff that comes off the bike, stuff like the quick release windshield, take it inside?
Yep - Ibelieve "quick-release" means exactly thatso I take windshield, sissy bar, and saddle bags inside. No sweat with a RK.

Been taking week long trips for about 20 years now. I stay at a motel, where I can park just outside the door. I also try to stay in a decent neighborhood. Keep your insurance paid, lock everything, set the alarm, then get a good night's sleep. Haven't had any problems yet (knocking on wood).

Don’t be overly paranoid. If you have an alarm system and you lock the locks you should be OK. You might think of adding a disc rotor lock too. Put a bike cover over it and sleep well If they want to steal it, they will even if you have it tied to an H-Bomb!

I met a guy a few years back.....said he always asked if the hotelhad a un-occupied handicapped room. He said the doorways were just big enough for his bike. I had kinda thought he was kidding until one night I stayed down in the Rio-Grand valley. The desk clerk asked if I would mind being placed in a handicapped room and I said that it would be fine. I could have actually gotten my bike in there (not sure the hotel would have appreciated it, though).
