I have used mine only 4 times and it is like new and i could be talked into selling it for $1400, picked up. I also know of another unit avail, a little rough but functionaly great for about $800 to $1000. If you go to rampage or jettrax website you can watch demo.
is this loader still for sale?

Just wondering about hauling an Utra in a 5'9" bed. Ok to leave the weight on the tailgate? Remove the tailgate? (I need to be able to pull a travel trailer too.)

My 72 year old Dad bought a Rampage loader about 4 years ago after a slight incident loading his ultra with ramps. He is retired and loads his bike in the bed of a 97 Chevy ext cab shortbed and tows behind his motorhome. It gets used between 12-16 times a year to load and unload at a minimum.
The loader works perfectly, there is no load on the tailgate, the product is quality and shows no signs of wear other than the plastic cable cover has split finally. It has proven to be safe and easy to use.

I just purchase a used rampage. its pretty simple to use, but heavy to load and unload in your truck. Im leaving the tailgate on a purchased tailgate supporters from Discountramps.com. My reasoning was after watching so many dump their bikes. I felt it was worth the investment, even if I use only 2 or 3 times a year. good luck.

Got a Rampage sitting in my yard. I had used it with a travel trailer for my winter trip to Florida. I was very happy with the lift and found it very easy to use, both load and unload. I have now switched to a motorhome and use an Overbilt lift on it to move the bike.
The Rampage is a heavy bugger held in with five bolts. Found I could slide it back onto a pair of saw horses between uses. It's available at a reasonable price if someone wants to make a trip to Northern NY

I've owned a Rampage since 2009. Used it on diff trucks. Works awesome. Makes loading/unloading easy. It is a heavy unit. I set it up that I have a small chain block to lift up the heavy end in the garage. And just lift the other end and slide a sawhorse under it. Then I just back the truck under it. Do the opposite to unload and put it on a small platform I built on 4 swivel wheels so I can move it wherever.

maybe a load of asphalt would;d be a better investment. add value to the house, keep the mud out,and make it easier to everything else in and out.
