RE: Installing rear lowering shocks.
Yes they are the 12" air shocks. Someone had a recent post about them that convinced me to try them. Too bad the search is not working. This site is so active especially this time of year, you have a hard time finding stuff that's only a few days old.

RE: Installing rear lowering shocks.
You cannot change one shock at a time since they are different lengths and the swing arm is one piece from left to right. Both old shocks need to be off before youcan install the new ones. A jack would make it much easier, but a couple of guys can pick the back of the bike while you put the shocks on if your in a hurry. Your stock air shocks will not change height when the air is out, only stiffen the ride.

RE: Installing rear lowering shocks.
i have the 12' shocks on mine
and if i'm ot mistaken i jacked bike
up with bike jack and put some blocking
under wheel let jack back down to where i needed it
to be to put shorter shocks on. unhook air lines.
careful when you take shocks off they
have oil in them so do the new ones.
mine also came with little brass caps .
