Well , looks like I'm gonna have to change my username because I signed the papers on an 08 Crimson Red sunglo Street Glide the other day. I ordered a bare bones bike, no ABS, no cruise, no spoked rims, etc...bare bones. Dealer called me and said it was in, all it needed was prepped but I could come in to complete the paperwork if I wanted. We went down and the first thing I'm told is that the bike came in with a cruise control. I thought, OK, no big deal. I'll probably never use it but it's there. I asked him how much extra that added onto the price and he said NOTHING. He claimed it would be cheaper to give it to me at N/C that to remove it so I got it free...pretty cool I thought. So, when it was all said an done, I got the bike at $2000 off MSRP, free cruise control, 10% off parts or anything in the dealership (excluding bikes) for as long as Iown the bikeand they are delivering it 75 miles to my home at no charge. How did I do?

 

If you ride the bike you WILL use the cruise.

Thanks guys. I just assumed I wouldn't use the cruise because I've never had one on a bike. It'll probably make a convert out of me though LOL.

BTW, dealer is Vreeland's HD in Bloomsburg, PA

Oh yeah I forgot, they didn't charge me freight or a dealer set-up fee either...

 

Was the VIN number scratched off too?
