Why not put a table lamp on it and put flowers in the trunk
and park it in living room as a conversation piece?
Least you would be getting some use out of it , since you're not
RIDING IT!!!!!

I don't. I put on the battery tender and cover. I do set it over some foam pads to keep the tires off of the cement. The garage its stored in is heated and no cars park in it, we have five bikes stored in there, none are on jacks.

How many keep their bike on a jack during your winter storage? I put mine up just far enough to take the weight off the tires. Is this a good idea?
Not a good idea. Too much trouble taking it off the jack everyday

In the UK the salt on the road prevents riding for about 3 months, it'll destroy alloy and chrome in a flash. One winters riding a HD in the UK will make it look like $#!+.

I wash it, poilish it, change the engine oil, put it on a lift to leave the suspension and tyres unstressed, cover all metal parts with ACF50, and put on a battery tender.

I just lay a couple pieces of plywood on the floor. It helps reduce the tires sitting on the concrete. I also ensure the tire presure is right. I have very little issue with the tires going low. I have my presure at 40psi rear and 38psi front.

Choo has problems. Everyone who has read very many of his posts understands that.
