I'm assuming everyone recieved the new issue of "enthusiast". The new Softail Crossbones is a great looking scooter. I thought "Oh Damn" just another Harley I would like to have someday.
They have a nice new spread on the website. What's everyone elses opinion on the scooter?

Sat on one today. Seat was comfy and that was where is stopped. I thought they are ugly as hell in the pics, they are worse in person. However to each his own and I am sure there are numberous people out there that think baggers are ugly. Bryan

I don't like the huge front tire. In my opinion a 21inch wheel would have made it look more old school.

to each his own... But then again, I wasn't around immediately post WWII, as the article states they took the styling queues from. But I did learn that choppers were originally bikes that had all the extra parts chopped off.

Saw one at the dealer last week. HD got it right with this model. Totally old school... very nice. I would love to have it as a second scoot.

Brent,
You know that little story caught my eye too. Are there any old school experts here that could confirm that for us.....
