No ties downs,no wheel chock just the lock & load. No problems . I cant see using $100 worth of straps to tie down $20,000 + bagger that I waited so long for. I think you are taking a BIG chance with straps .

Don't strap to the handlebars. A buddy of mine did and the bars turned. Bike was in enclosed trailer and fell over to one side. Strap to something that won't move.

soos, I have looked at your pictures and I have a question. By hooking around the front fork above the fender does it cause a problem with the paint on the fender?
No
I have used this method several times and it works great.

I like the straps better than having something permanently bolted to the bottom. I know how to use and inspect straps so that's not a problem for me and i don't buy into more money means better product. I like tried and true as opposed to new.

Headed to Datona myself . Trailering two bikes 1 SG , 1RK on 7x12 . I use www.lockandloadusa.com .Coast is higher than straps but alot easer for one rider to load and unload. Alot safer for myStreet Glide and buddies Road King both 07s .
Well you know that it is over priced when they don't tell the price on the first page.........I hate having to hunt for the price of something, and usually just leave the site......it is like calling somewhere and having to listen to a recorded voice and push 19 million buttons before you finally get to a live person......needless to say loadandloadusa lost my business before they even had it!!

The trailer is open and has a wind barrier to protect the front of the bikes. It has tied down area everywhere. I only use ratchet straps rated at 1500lbs each (probably overkill) Thanks for the replies. I will be making a few local runs to other Florida events before Sturgis, I'll try the suggestions there.
RoadKing06 sounds like you are trailering that machine way too much. I can see trailering to Sturgis if you must but you live in Florida so why would you be testing out the trailer for Florida events. Ride that thing !!!

I've never trailered my bike,I bought my trailer to use as a garage for warm months, instead of using a cover all the time,my trailer doesnt even have tie down points, guess i might want to think about adding some ,at some point, just in cease i have the need to use the trailer, any recomdations on which system works well and is versitle enough to use the trailer for hauling other things as well

I have the E-Track System in my trailer. You mount the track to the floor or walls wherever you want to place it, then you can snap in the different E-Track Fittings and Adapters that are available.
