Owned two Road Kings in the past I'm looking at a Royal Star tour deluxe or another King for a new bike - any thoughts???

A guy rode with us one day on a royal star...and when we stopped at the bar for a drink he parked in the back and sat at a different table....he also put on an Osama Bin Laden mask so no one would notice the bike. I like the Road King.

As has been stated, of course everyone will say HD. But bottom the lineis.. get what makes you happy. I've owned many Jap bikes and for my perferences I went HD. It just "feels" like a real bike on the open road.. no other way to explain it (for me).

I like the venture, also look at the new Stratoliner loaded for the road? Don't have the resale of a roadking but hopefully your buying it to ride and not resale. It all boils down to what you want. If you go to a star site they will tell you to get the Yamaha. I will tell you that I have owned both Metric and Harley's and I keep going back to the Harley. Had a Roadking before my deluxe and loved it.

Well the Royal Star tour deluxe looks nice. But I like the style of the King.

 

Trade in those snowmobiles you have and buy them both.
