I do thank all of you for your suggestions... I will print out this post and start working on a ride.. Both the Wife and I will be retired come May 3 - bought 5 ac's and building a home.... WORK but fun. I was planning on doing the "Run for the Wall " http://www.rftw.org/ however, with the new home - $$$$ just not there - However, We do want to take a week or so and do the run I posted... Our route is wide open and being retired - we have time... Thanks again for all the suggestions...

You should really see all of Yellowstone, and that can't be done in a single day. Three days is do-able, but the more the merrier!!!!! One day going into the park, one full day in the park, and one day going out.....

0711.. if you think being retired = more time. Think again, or share your secret after a few months to a year!!! lol Hey enjoy your ride, I've found Lolo Pass to be VERY enjoyable but if Washington (eastern), Montana, Idaho, Utah and the Dakotas did not exist, I would not be riding!

You can't go wrong anywhere you go in Idaho MT Wy or S. Dakota. Depending on when you come through there are some great local rallies.

Spend a day in Cody Wy visiting the mueseum and the nightly rodeo. Easy to spend a day at the mueseum and then up through Yellowstone Park down through the Beartooth Pass and Chief Joseph Highway, visit Virginia City to see the old mining town
