Just curious how many fellow baggers wear ear plugs. I never thought of it until reading a few posts recently. My ears aren't getting any younger so I was thinking this maybe something I should start. For those currently using them how long to make the adjustment? What is the downside to using them?
I wear them all the time. With the 1/2 helmet I can't stand the wind noise without them. After you do a long ride with them you won't look back and they become part of the gear. Ron
Duringlong rides I use ear plugs from The Ear Plug Company wired for sound. The company makes ear plugs from your ear molds, wired and plain. They keep out some of the riding noise and keep in the music
THE OLDER U GET THE MORE ULL APPRECIATE LESS NOISE.. AND ON A LONGER RIDE ULL BE ABLE TO TRAVEL FURTHER WITH WAY LESS FATIGUE.. WITH EAR PLUGS. GET HI DB PLUGS THERE ARE DIFFERENT DEGREES OF SOUND DEADENING EAR PLUGS
Wear them all the time now. Lost a lot of hearing from being a firefighter from sirens blarings, and rock concerts didn't help either. I got a custom set of plugs molded at a bike show and they are well worth the time and money for long term comfort and sound supression.
