Default Led bulbs

Can I just buy led bulbs to switch out in my rear tail lights and directionals? Or do I need to buy a special housing to be able to do that?

They sell led bulbs, just remember most all of them will put out less light than the regular bulb. Most hear LED and think Bright! but only the ones advertised as super bright will be better than stock. All the Pancia setups are dimmer than stock too. Do a search on leds and read the pros and cons before buying any.

Automotive LED will not fit in the housing... You might look at KURYAKYN as they do make bulbs that will fit

Also, the brake light is a direct replacement but for the turn signals theres another part you have to get so they will blink. I think it's because they pull less power.

2deuce is right. The flasher needs a current draw in order to flash. LEDs don't draw enough so you need a load equalizer.

Biketronics sells a kit to convert to LEDs includes the load equalizer and they are much brighter than stock. Punch up biketronics on e-bay.

I have some bulbs for sale in the for sale section for the directionals. I run rear leds with front standard bulbs and they blink normal without a load equalizer.
