Hello!

Does anyone carry a bag like the Roller Dekker from Ta-Bags or a comparable bag on a rack on the top of the Mutazu box?

Is the Box strong enough to carry such a heavy Load?

Mississippi Bagger, could you tell me the part number of the Enblem you put on the Lid of your Mutazu Box?

Thanks,

Pawnee

I've had one for almost three years, but can't answer about the use of a Dekker or T-Bag on top since I haven't done it. The box is similar to the boxes HD sells for the Road King with thinner/lighter construction than the King TP. If you mount a luggage rack, providing bracing inside the lid to spread the stress from the mounting points would make sense.

Default Mutazu Trunk

The Harley Tourpak now runs over $1100.00 They are great, but for the Mutazu $110 trunk, you can replace one a year for 10 years in a row. Why Buy the Harley?

My need was for an inexpensive trunk, that also served as a backrest.

You can look at this setup here:

That looks pretty darn nice. And a good savings to boot. Well done.

Actually you dont have to pay $1100 to the dealer. I found an old tour pack, Approx 20 years old at a swap meet for 25 dollars. I sanded, painted, new lock to match my keys, added the quick disconnect hardware and misc chrome. Total was just under $400 thanks to E-Bay. Here are some pic, if I can get them to load.

I bought one for my 08' RG. I liked the heck out of it. It fit my bike better than a full size HD Tpak. Only problem I had was the people I bought it from shipped it with some scratches on it. I called to have them send another and they said there was no guarantee the next one wouldn't be worse. They did credit me $10 for some compound. I used big fender washers top and bottom and used the HD bracket. Put it on my SERG when I got it but it didn't look good in black. I am not sure if I would spend a lot of money having one painted though. T.

I have both a heavy *** HD one and a lite and easy to install Mutazu one. I use the Mutazu one more. Had it for 3-4 years and no problems!

How is your access into the saddlebags, do the lids still open all the way? Was going to put a chopped or the new razor pac on mine but it looks like it will interfere with the saddlebags, this looks like a good alternative.

Thanks

Smitty
