Two half hemets fit easily with lots of room to spare.

One fullface (Nolan Modular) barely fits heightwise, with room around it for plenty of other stuff.

Two fullface helmets would not even begin to fit.

S A W E E T !!!!

Now I just gotta figure out why I haven't bought one yet!

That black paint is how it comes from Matuza right?
How's the "flex factor" when passanger leans on it?

I have done a little research on this, and have read several times that the pack is not nearly as strong as the HD pack, and does give way to flexing. Also, I have read that the lid is thin, and does not take to having a rack with a lot of stuff loaded on top... Again, I have only read this, and have no first hand knowledge... as of yet... but, I will. One thing that I have read that a few have done is to add some aluminum/metal plates to the interior of the pack, to stregthen it... I am sure I will.

Now, on to another question regarding mounting this thing. I know I can buy a detachable, or perminate rack from HD. But, what if I was to use a rack from a police bike? That should work, right? And, I should be able to mount the police rack to my bike... I can't think of why it wouldn't. The main reason is cost. The pack certainly cover cheap, on that end (and I like the pack). I can buy a police rack off ebay for next to nothin'. Has anyone tried this route... or, am I trying to hard to take the cheap route, LOL... Remember, this rack will only be on when I go out of town, and I have no issue spending the time to remove it, as it will not be detachable... Any thoughts??? BTW, any comments about buying a $20k bike, and buying cheap parts, can stay with you... I have no desire to hear that crap, just asking for anyone who may have tried the cop rack route...

I have a cop bike and mounted my tour pack right on the plate that supported the police radio box. I had to raise the tour pack up with a couple of rubber stoppers and a spacer, so my bag lids would clear. The cop bag lids open from the wheel side out.
So far I am pleased with mine....
I also put a Harley stick on emblem over the circular one that was provided on the tour pack.

Here is a pic where you may be able to see the rubber stoppers, and this was taken before I put the Harley emblem on it.

Papa, the police chrome rack that the black plate (radio rack)sits on is the same as the Classic and Ultra racks. IIRC, my police radio rack had a hole with a rubber grommet (for the pole lamp), so if the grommet is removed the black plate would provide a flat mounting service and the bolt holes would match up for mounting the tour pak.

Looks GREAT.. +1 on the lights, going to order the larger one as a add on Break Light for my FLH. Can't go wrong at that price.

Thanks for the info... I think that will be a cheaper route to take, and looks just fine to me. One question for you, though. For the rack to mount, it is bolted on to the frame rails in front, is the back held up by the license plate and grab rail?

You did a good job making that wrap around backrest work on that pack... I bet that wasn't easy... I had thought about the leather pack, since my bags are leather, like yours, but the Mutazu is still quite a bit cheaper... and, if I was planning on keeping it on all the time, I might go that route, but since it will only be on on trips (which do not happen much with kids and a job, LOL), I think the fact that the Mutazu will hold more gear... it would be the wiser choice for me... although, I do applaud your effort.. I think it looks great...
