I like the funky chirp. It gets everybody looking around for the crazy squirrel that must be nearby.

I installed the Radio Shack Siren on my 09 SG. Install pretty easy. I have the HD Siren with the pager. The pager still works and notifies me when the alarm is triggered and the two sirens are awsome. I went by a friends house to try and install the RS siren on his 05 Road King. After some time spent locating his wiring, we finaly got the siren installed. The siren does not chirp when alarm is activated or deactivated. Does anyone know the sequence to have the audible chirp when alarm is activeted. I Know on my 09 SG, there's a sequence you must follow. Need info on the Road King. Thanks

I just did this mod on my 2008 FLHTC. Least expensive mod ever! Works great.

It should be no different from my 05 RG, and I had to do nothing extra for the chirp.

Did you verify that it actually works...?

The alarm works when the ignition switch is turned on, I will follow the sequence I used to activate the chirp mode on my bike. He does not have a manuel, as he purchesed it from a previous owner.

After coming across this thread a couple of days ago, I stopped by my local Radio Shack this morning and bought the Radio Shack p/n 273-079 Piezo Siren. Tinned the wires a bit and went out and pulled the left saddlebag and side cover, found the three pin plug stuck the red in the first hole and the black in the second, jammed the plug back into the dummy cover and used industrial strength velcro to attack the siren to the same spot the H-D unit would have gone. Laid my key fob in the house and turned on the ignition, it chirped at me, then I hit the on/off switch. All hell broke loose. 120 db is loud in my garage. I couldn't get to the key fob quick enough to get back to my bike so that the alarm quit. Wow. Best $5.92 I've ever spent. Oh, my bike's an 09 Road King, fwiw.

Hey Gd, I think the problem is trying to find the location of the siren wire harness. On my 09 Sg, it was under the left side cover. I was not able to locate it on the left side of his RK. There was a three plug connector
under the right side cover. There wasn't a green wire and when I attached the red and black wire, The siren sounded without the alarm being activated. Any suggestions would be appreciated. No owners manul available. Thanks
