I may slap one on my bike. Sounds like a good mod.

Someone needs to check this.

SS has a BU battery.

Trigger the alarm, pop off the side cover, unplug the SS (or cut the wires if ur daring).

Does it still scream?

All about buying a couple seconds.

I'm thinking the SS will continue to pitch a, well, thing.

Volunteers, or do I have to do it myself (that was a hint)?

You can order on the web or search other stores. I had to check 2 stores on the phone to get 2 units today. I installed in quickly and it seems be working like a champ. I always felt good to have the audible noise when I get off of the bike and when it is bumped.

Another great thread. 12 bucks....

I think the confusion on the '08's is the plug is actually in a dummy dock, its not really plugged into anything. Its to the lower left of the fuse box cover and is plugged straight in (not sideways) pry up the retainer clip and pull straight out.

The thing I find most amazing about this thread is the fact that anyone buys anything at Radio Shaft....:>)
