I love my Ipod, I also have sirius radio. I tried XM and hated it, the music selection was poor at best compared to sirius but if you like hearing stuff that you never heard before go xm, if you like hearing more familiar songs and a few forgotten ones get sirius. just my $0.02.

Cheap a Ipod load it with all the music you like to hear. That's the best and cheapest way to go. JHMO

I have an XM Inno from Pioneer. Great little radio, can be used as an iPod to record as well.

I have Sirius on the new car... it came with one year free.

I prefer XM personally.

I had XM for a couple of years, and consider myself a big music fan. I finally cancelled it after they did away with my favorite station. They don't have commercials, but also didn't play a lot of variety and I found that I was constantly changing the channel looking for a descent song to listen to.

I would definitely go with an mp3 player, that way every song that comes up is one you want to listen to. It's too dangerous changing the channel all the time.

I just put my xm on my ultra. Plugged into the cig lighter and the AUX port. I could not get the volumn that I can get out of the radio or CD. Is anyone else having this problem? Can not hear it well at high speeds.

I've had XM, found myself paying more attention tolooking forsomething to listen to than where I was headed. Ipod's are great, but it's one more thing to reach for and take my attention from the road. I've decided that the best thing for me is to load up an MP3 cd andleave it in the bike on random. Not worried about anyone stealing it when I'm parked somewhere and it will hold between 100-150 songs. The new radio's will allow you to scroll through folders so you can set the CD up to hold full albums or individual songs.

Like someone else said buy a XM Inno. You can listen to XM, record off of cd's, record off XM and listen just like a Ipod. I have XM and Sirius and I prefer XM. You will get as many opionions as asking which pipes are best. If you can't find something on Sat. radio to listen to then you aren't going to be happy with anything. Look up the channels you get on xm or sirius on there sites and see if that helps. I listen to xm in my cars, boat, bike and house and never listen to FM.
