Default D&D Fatcat quiet vs standard baffle

I currently run the standard baffle, pretty loud, I already have damaged hearing from shooting Vulcans in the Army, can tell my hearing is getting worse since I got the D&D's, worse to the point that it feels like I have lost balance. Was wondering if any here experienced the same thing, also if the quiet baffle will be much quieter? Am not bashing the Fatcats at all, I love them for the performance and the sound, much better that the SE slipons that I had.

Oh wow... that's BAD.

While the quiet baffle does not compare to stock sound, it is quite a bit lower volume than the STD... espically at speed.

As you already know... there's no turning back this type of damage, so you might want to consider ear plugs so as to avoid any further damage...

The quiet baffle is more quiet then the standard baffle, but it still makes noise.

Hearing damage is very hard to deal with, and riding an HD with just about any aftermarket exhaust isn't going to help much at all.

The Supertrapp 2-1 with closed endcap and a low-disc count is very quiet, also the RB racing Blackhole 2-1 is supposed to be very quiet also.

I would agree with the above. If you're looking for a quiet performance pipe, get the Supertrapp 2 into 1. I don't think the RB blackhole is all that quiet?

I had a set of rineharts true duals.sold them and install D&D fATCats with quiet baffles.the pipes are very quiet more so than the true duals.verlly noticeble during crusing.the radio is louder than the pipe at high speed.

I have been wearing molded ear plugs since I got them in Sturgis a few years ago. They made them on the spot and I won't ride without them ever again. Sounds a little pricey up front, but is well worth it. They said they make all the major rallies and some of the smaller ones. I would highly recommend them.

Good luck.
