Default Markel Insurance

I just got a quote that came in 225 bucks below my current policy with Dairyland.

Give em a try and see what they can do for you.

Have had them since 2000 and a couple minor bender uppers.
They covered each no questions asked.
They raised my rates for one year on one, then lowered them again.
I have no complaints with them.

I just got one from them that was 4 times my current rate with State Farm. I pay $624a year and they came in at $2400 something. I'm 43 with a perfect record and good credit.I have no idea what other people are paying but $624.00 a year from State Farm seems reasonable tome. Are any of you guys payingover a grand for insurance??

Yep...$1200 here through State Farm in Texas. I have a personal libailityumbrella policy. I am rerquired to have the maximum amount of insurance so thats why it is so high. I shopped around and could drop my coverage to the state minimum for around $700.00 per year.

I've been with them for 2 years now no complaints. I haven't had a claim, knock wood, but so far I'm pleased with my rates.

Insurance varies according to where you live however I have my car and home owners insurance through Allstate and they quoted me 580 a year with a 1000 deductible where as Markel quoted me 375 with a 505 deductible (don't know why the 5) a year.
