I like Serius radio. I guess because I have had it in my cages for years and IAM FAMILIAR WITH THE PROGRAMMING. THEY MAKE A DECENT MOUNT FOR MOTORCYCLES AND OFFER DISCOUNTS FOR MULTIPLE RADIOS. Here is a pic of mine, sorry for the caps, I am too lazy to type it again!
LOL

I installed my ROADY XT using a handlebar/hand control mount. I bought the mount, the hot wire, and the antenna mount from CYCLEGADGETS.COM. This mount uses the auto cradle. I went to xmradio.com and bought a 2 foot antenna.

I have been using an XM radio (Delphi SkyFi2) for several years now. I bought a mounting system from RAM (http://www.ram-mount.com/products/motorcycles.htm), which has worked very well. Pretty simple setup... got a lighter outlet at Radio Shack, installed that inside the fairing, plugged in the radio power to that and zip-tied the two together. The nice thing about the RAM system is the hole line up perfectly with the control screws on the bike. I just bought longer screws at Home Depot and painted them black. The other end of the RAM system lines up perfectly with the SkyFi2 mount once you remove the clip on piece. If I find out how to add a picture or two here, I'll do that later. Have to say... have used this set up for 3 years and 50,000+ miles... not a single problem or issue.

CLICK HERE for a link to the kit Serius SIRPMK1 is a kit with all you need to mount the Starmate or Sporster radio on your bike. Comes with 12 volt cig. plug, power adapter for hard witing and antenna with shorty wire on it and all hardware needed for mount on handlebar or perch on either side. . You can find these on eBay maybe 10dollers less, I bought mine direct from Sirius.

Also has a rain and moisture cover for the radio.
