Has anyone installed the Mustang one piece touring or sport touring on an FLHRC and does it interfere with the bags opening all the way? I am worried about them hitting the seat when opened and not staying open.

I have an 08 Road Glide with the 1 piece touring seat, I think it is 17 in wide for the rider and 14in widefor the passenger with no issues.

 

I'm looking for someone who has a bike with Leather bags on them. Your RG has hard bags and they open out. Are you happy with it?

 

yes, I had a mustang on my 04 also and was very pleased

 

I have what you are seeking.....No interferrence with the leather bags at all. However...you may need to relocate your ECM (now under the seat) to behind the right side cover. I had n issue with the seat pushing down on my ECM causing the electrical to malfunction. Now that I've relocated the ECM...It runs great and I love my Mustang!! I used the Harley backrest and the seat is designed to use it or theirs.
