Default Pulling to the LEFT!!!

My "06 ULTRA pulls slightly to the left with cruise ON and no hands on the bar. This being an election year I'm very concerned! I didn't notice this before my rear tire was changed. Could this be some type of alignment issue?

Sounds like your rear tire is out of alignment. It probably has the front of it slightly to the right this will make the bike go to the left when under power. Is your front wheel going straight when your fairing is square, this will also make it wander one way or another.

If you installed the tire double-check your alignment. If you took it to someone have them readjust the tire/belt. Then again since they screwed it up in the first place you are better fixing it yourself.

My bike has 600 miles on it and will make a left turn right in the middle of the road if you take your hands off.

We have had this discussion before and someone mentioned once to look at your clutch cable pressing against your frame or crashbar. I looked at mine and sure enough it was pulling just hard enough to pull the bike left. I don't really consider it a real problem, but if you must fix it, I'm not sure what the best fix is. Longer cable?

Thanks, Beary, when I do my 1000K service I will be sure to take a look at the clutch cable. My 2001 EG pulled also and the Harley Tech Rep said after a $450 service ticket that it was in specs. They even alligned it with a light bulb but could not get the pull out. When my 2008 pulled I just figured it was the nature of the beast. I will take a look at the clutch cable for sure.

Just a thought, but check your bags. One side loaded heavier will do that.

My 08UC has had the same slight pull to the left since new. I thought it might be due to the belt pulling one side but its not enough for me to worry about. I push a little on my right leg on the hwy peg and that compensates enough for me.
