IDS did it help?

IDS did it help?
I have heard glowing reports here about the IDS and thebig difference it made in peoples bikes. I had one installed on my 07 ultra and to be truthful can't tell a difference. I may have DBS (dead butt syndrome) however I have only put about 50 miles on it since the install. Am I missing something or does anyone else feel the way I do?

RE: IDS did it help?
I noticed an improvement especially at low RPMs. I don't lug my bike too much but I occasionally like to roll on the throttle and pull out of it without shifting down. This is where I notice that the bike is smoother. I was also getting some chatter out of the trans that has disappeared. For the money, it is a "must do" for anyone with an 07.
One more thing. Before the IDS I would only use 6th above 70. I can now use it from 60 up.

Biggest improvement I saw was the ability to shift into 6th gear below 70 mph and the Bike remained very smooth.
I'm not a Lugger, and didn't experience all the noises that a lot of people complained about. I think the IDS does smooth the Bike out, and is worth every penny it costs.

I concur with Sifularson. My fith gear had the "rocks in a can" sound. With the IDS, I have no more noise and a smoother ride. As far as guys saying they can't tell a difference, they must not have had the noise issue to begin with. My brother has an '07 Street Glide he bought last April, and has no noise issues at all. My '07 Road Glide purchased in July was very noisy. Go figure.
