Default colored bolts

In my younger years I remember candy apple red, and candy apple blue fittings under the hood of my old chevy. Anybody make these as bolts, primary, derby covers etc....

I don't know of any other than chrome and black... I was thinking of getting some of those hot toppers, and spray painting them black pearl, or a black chrome... then, I would have to change all my chrome to black chrome, which would be sweet, but way more money than I got... Just like everything else I want to do...

could always have 'em powdercoated... i just got some red anodized-look and blue anodized-look powder in last week...havent had much chance to try it out... did a couple samples... stuff looks very cool... i'd like to see someone w/ the denim blue paint utilize this stuff... that would look killer!

but if you powdercoat them then the bolt head size is off and when you tighten it up the powder chips and peels? At least from my past experience

Use the chrome ones, after install, mask off the area around the bolt and hit it with the color of your choice with a spray bomb. Usually 1 or 2 light coats will do the trick. makes the bolt look as if it were chromed in that color. Detaler trick.

zimbob that sounds like it might be worth trying, you don't have to scuff up the chrome to get the paint to stick. How long do you think it would last.
