Anybody have one of these??? Any good??? Better off going to Sears???

As we all know, the MOCO does tend to make some cheap stuff sometimes - just curious if anyone has one and their experiences.

What is a good shock air pressure on an 05 Ultra - one up / two up - front / back???

THANKS. Dave H.

Touring Suspension Air Pump

This pump was designed to allow safe and simple adjustment of the front and rear air suspension on Touring motorcycles. Unlike a bicycle pump or a fuel station air hose, the hand operated pump with controllable "micro bleed" valve allows precise adjustment to air volume, and the "no loss" air connector maintains shock pressure when the fitting is removed. The 4.5" swivel air hose simplifies valve stem attachment. The aluminum housing is compact, lightweight and durable, and fits easily into your bag for "on-the-road" adjustments. The high quality 0-60 psi gauge ensures accurate air pressure.

54630-03A

For use with Touring Air Suspension components.

MSRP US $39.95

I have the pump and it works great and is well made. I run 20 lbs in front and 5 in back solo and 15 with passenger. You can easily go higher than that if you want, it's all personal preference.

I looked at the pump made by progressive and the genuine harley one. I picked the harley one because it looked to me like progressive made it anyway.

THANKS for all the inputs guys!!!! Looks like my next purchase.

Help me out - basically then, low pressure you ride on the frame (rougher) - higher pressure you ride on the shocks (smoother)???

Mine were never checked - guessing they are at zero.

Where are the air line inputs on an 05 Ultra - one on each side or one input for both - are they behind the bags - never seen them in all my customizing???

THANKS AGAIN. This forum is invaluable - especially for those like me roughing out the winter without our rides!!!!! 60 days and counting.

The pressure really determines if you are allowing the springs to comperss or not. Higher pressure will be a harder ride, lower pressure will give a more fluid ride on the springs, and possibly allow the springs to totally compress and thus bottom out.

I've got the pump and find it to be an exellent piece of equipment

The valve is mounted on the frame behind the left saddlebag lid. It looks like a tire valve, and adjusts both shocks at the same time.

I've got the pump as well. Very handy going from 1 up to 2 up. The valve on a RKC is behind the right bag.
