Have had the T-max with auto for about 9 months and very pleased. Pinging was instantly gone, better throttle respone and I loved the plug and go way. The only adjustment I made was to lower the idle speed. You wont go wrong with one of these.

ORIGINAL: Brooklyn Redneck

I had it on for about 3000 miles, then took it off. my bike ran fantastic, better than it ever has,the problem for me was that I had extreme popping every time that I let off the throttle. the auto tune never tuned that out, and for me it was just to annoying,so I removed it and went back to the pcIII. hope this helps.
I had the same problem with the popping, after reading here about the 4.5 firmware upgrade, I installed it and flipped the switch on the decel popping feature, it's gone. I took out the PC III to install the TMAX and have not regretted it one time, totally new bike.

Have about two hours on mine and can't believe how much better my scoot runs. Had a PCIII but never could get it quite right. All decel popping seems gone and the throttle response is smooth from top to bottom without any fussing around. I just installed, followed the set up instructions and took a ride. So far, I can't see a reason to make any adjustments, but time will tell.
