ORIGINAL: xkvator

...on the vibration...i had none till about 800+ miles...i was out trying to put miles on one morning before work, so i could get the first service done before going to York in September. after i slowed and made a right turn on to another road, i felt the vibration start around 2200 rpm...at first i thought it might be the road, because of the heavy triaxle traffic, but it wasn't. dealer said nothing wrong...
since then...they've come out with the new motor mount...will see if that will help
I have had 2 SG's. Both have done the same thing you described. After a few hundred miles it was like a switch was thrown. One minute smooth the next vibration. Guess what, It don't go away! My dealer say's it's the engine getting broken in. Could you believe that S_ _ T!

Thats what was done to my bike (download and injectors) and it runs GREAT. No popping or stalling. Fuel mileage sucks, but hoping it will get better when the motor gets broken in.
The injectors were part # 27709-06 for those interested

Let me know about your gas mileage. Mine gets great gas mileage know, of course it should as lean as it's running. I think this will be a good fix.

Bruce, your gas milage won't get any better. What they've done is thrown a lot more gas in the motor via the oversized injectors and the stage II download. You have no control of your AFR now. Your running too rich. You are going to have to get some type of tuner (SERT or PCIII) to make the adjustments you need.

I assume this is fuel injected bikes only?!? My 06 FLHT standard has a carb and so far runs great. Nice idle, good power, no popping, stalling etc.
Just wonderig, any carb bikes with lean problems?

Thanks for your time,

Tallahassee Doug
