Anyone knowwhat a good brand is for a helmet headset for a 08 ultra?

J & M makes a very good one....got it in a 3/4 helmet, gonna get another one for my ff modular helmet.

 

Do you have a Zumo 550? If so go with the Scala Rider Q2. If your just interested for the radio can't help you.

Okay guys and gals. We understand your recommendations for sertain brands but do tell us why you prefer that brand? The o/l wants me to buy another HD headset and I'm thinking I could get a better deal else were. We need it just so she can talk (my *** off while we ride) and so that I can answer her, any suggestions?

 

Design and sound - the HD connects in a direct line with the pull of the cord, and tends to pull out, which means a metal projectile on the paint. J&M has a tether on theirs....

Well I am going to differ from the crowd here, I have the Harley and the JM and I like the Serria best. The speakers are right next to your ears so the sound is better than the JM or Harley. I wasnt impressed with the JM and the cost was way out there. I paid over five hundred for the high end unit with a mid range helmet and installation. The Serria (found on this site) is really good at around seventy dollars.
