I want to change my black front brake calipers for chrome. Did Harley make a change to the brake caliper for 2007? Eastern Performance carries chrome aftermarket calipers by Midwest Motorcycle Supply but Eastern says they only fit 2000-2006? Here's the calipers I'm talking about: http://littlurl.com/30qcv

Heck, I don't think I could even have mine chromed for that price if they fit a 2007...

 

I did not think they made a change to the brakes till 2008, but I could be wrong. That is a good price. Has anyone put these on and had good luck with them? I was looking at going wit the HHI a bit more money, but the brakes are just plain awesome.

 

I just spoke with Eastern performance. They said it will fit a 07. The only difference is in 07 hd went with #5 fluid. Use the correct fluid and you should be fine.

NOT!!!!!!!!only went back a few years but 2007...2006....and 2005 use DOT 4 in the tourers, both for the Police ABS systems and non ABS equipped tourers....

And yes the calipers will fit the 2007 bikes.

 

I spoke with Eastern earlier this morning. The gentlemen I spoke with said his book only showed it fitting up to a 2006. I guess I will order them and see...

 

Harley-Davidson 06 and 07 parts book lists the same front calipers for both year models.
Right / 44023-00C
Left / 44046-00D

AND DOT 4 brake fluid.

You are correct it is dot 4, my other bike takes dot 5
It was a honest mistake

 

I had a pair on my bike. These are made in China if that matters to you. The finish was okay, there were casting marks on the set I had that were visable, not great and they seeped quite a bit. I had som HD calipers chromed and sold the Chinese ones. They also are kind of bulky looking. They did work very well though.
