Put her in transport mode. I just did it for a train trip. I followed the instructions in the manual: turn on ignition, flip off/run/off, turn to access, push left and right signals simultaneously, turn off ignition, lights blink three times, swing a dead chicken over your head three times.... I still wondered whether the battery would be dead after the trip but it worked.
As mentioned by many above, put the alarm in "Transport" mode and don't worry about it. Brother was trailering his '07 SG home in late 2006. After about 20 miles, he had to pull over because he got tired of looking in rear view mirror and watching lights on bike flash because alarm was going off.
