Default Tall rider, looking for a new seat. HELP!!!

Hey everyone! I have an 07 Road King Classic and Im looking to retire the stock seat for something a bit more comfortable w/ back support. I am 6'5" and often find myself riding on the very back of the seat which is not comfortable at all. I was at my local dealer this weekend to sit on a tall boy seat they put on a road king for me and it was pretty nice I just wasnt crazy about the huge passenger pillion. Are there any others out there that I should take a look at??? Please advise and thanks in advance.

i'm 6'4" and have the same problem. I amgoing to order amustang seat. I tried one on another RK and it seemed to be a better fit. Hope it helps, otherwise i am going to try sending my original seat to meancitycycles.com They advertise on the right column of these forums.

At 6'1" I am not even in the same "ballgame" as you, so my help will not be the best solution. In your case I too would go with meancitycycles.com, or one of the others to modify what you have.I did have the same problem on my shovel and the back edge was rubbing my backside....I was able to move the seat back on it, but you will have to modify the seat on a RK.Next problem is to get leg room, or you feel like a circus bear on a tricycle, without going UP to high, ... so 2 inches on the floorboards is essential. AFTER you get the seat, then you will find the windshield will be the wrong, but do not mess with that until you are very happy with the seat...

Good Luck

I found the Sundowner worked for me. I'm 6' 4". Also tried the tall boy from HD but it didn't work for wife. Other members are correct about windshield. I went with Clearview 2" over.

Try the Sundowner seat. Look on Ebay I saw one recently for your bike for $125.00 brand new.

Here is a post on the 2" floorboard extentions that moves them forward and the 1" extentions that moves them out.
