ok, I read the posts on those who carry. I have nothing against it, but my question is of those who do carry how many are LEO or former LEO. Also, those non LEO who carry, where are you from that allows you to legally carry. I'm from NJ and carrying here is not easy (legally). I've been shot at, but because I am not LEO I cannot get a carry permit.

 

Move to Texas, NOW!

Seriously, get out of the Northeast and into the south, you'll be glad you did. Year round riding, carry conceal, better looking women, cheaper cost of living.............the list goes on and on.......

Former LEO and I carry legally.

 

Retired LEO and carry, and it is almost impossible to get a permit to carry in NJ.

 

move to a shall issue state , all law abiding citizens can get them, as long as you meet the requirements

 

2nd ammendmentgurantees certain rights?
Unless you are a Felon......you can carry a weapon. Am I wrong here?
1st....join the NRA (National Rifle Association)..
2nd. learn what rights you have in your State.

I am not a LEO or former LEO. I have a concealed carry permit and am
retired military. I respect our laws (pretty much) and have the highest regard for
people (not just LEO) that stick up for me.

I think law enforcement know who I am....and would back me up in aminute.
I just don't want to wait that long for them....
